NWOW Workshop in İstanbul

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with UN OCHA an UNDP, hosted the Advancing the New Way of Working Working (NWOW) Workshop in İstanbul on 18-19 May 2017. The NWOW is an initiative which was among the most important outcomes of the World Humanitarian Sumnmit held in May last year and is coherent with Turkey’s development oriented humanitarian approach. On the occasion of the NWOW Istanbul Workshop and in commemoration of the first anniversarry of the WHS, a High Level Panel on the post summit process was also held.

"NWOW: Advancing Implementation" Workshop Held in Copenhagen

Second workshop within the context of “New Way of Working” initiative, which was launched at the World Humanitarian Summit to seek ways of coordination between humanitarian and development aid, was held in Copenhagen on 13-14 March 2017. In addition to relevant UN agencies (OCHA, UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR) officials and representatives from Ministries of Foreign Affairs, EU delegations, Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, financial institutions including World Bank and NGOs attended the workshop.
